When by mistake some text has been cancelled, Ctrl Z doesnt work to recover previously written text. When looking at the previous version, it is possible to see it, compare versions. but i couldn't find how to recover a past version.

Hi anne, to revert to a previously saved version of your book, click on the History tab in the book's editing page. In the history tab you will see a list of saved changes to your book and its chapters. Click on the name of the chapter that you want to recover.

You will now see all the saved revisions for this chapter, click on the underlined revision numbers to view the different revisions that have been saved.

When you find the revision that you want to restore, click on the Revert to this revision button at the top of the page.

You will be asked if you are sure, click Yes revert!

A new revision of the chapter will be made and its contents will match that of the revision you restored.

Cheers,

John
