I tried out the export feature, and found that most of the time I get the progress bar suggesting a pdf was being generated, but when it was full, it didn't turn into a link to a pdf. I know about that link because I got it before. But now I can't seem to get it at all. Any suggestions?

The book is currently hidden, as I am in the early stages of working on it. But I'd like to produce a pdf from time-to-time.

I set the license to CC-BY-SA, and the page size to US-Trade, and asked for a book-type pdf.

The possible response, "you sometimes need to wait a few moments after it is complete and the link will appear" is not so for me using Firefox 5 on Ubuntu 11.4.

I've been waiting now for twenty minutes for the link to appear in Firefox 5 and nothing has happened.

I just now tried using the epiphany browser, and the link appeared "after a few moments".

This does solve my problem, but the idea of just waiting patiently doesn't work in all browsers.

hey

The issue is that the progress bar is a little fake...you sometimes need to wait a few moments after it is complete and the link will appear.
